From substrate matric potential to AROYA customer support, get a quick recap of the learnings we cultivated from our latest virtual Q&A.

AROYA Office Hours Episode Two (11/18) : What We Learned

Our second episode of AROYA Office Hours was a huge success. The team took your crop steering and cannabis cultivation questions to our CEO Scott Campbell, and our Director of Customer Success, Jason Van Leuven—what we walked away with was a wealth of information to ensure you're meeting your goals, no matter what stage you're at in the grow room.

Be sure to join us every Thursday at 4:20 p.m. ET for access to exclusive grow knowledge from two major players on the AROYA Team. Do you have a question you've been meaning to ask our experts about cannabis cultivation hardware, software, and support? Submit it on our YouTube channel or send us a DM on Instagram and we'll add it to the queue for our next one.

In case you missed it, here's a recap of the highlights of AROYA Office Hours from November 18, 2021.

Fine-tune (and keep fine-tuning) your growing strategies.

Variables like substrate, plant size, and plant age affect each cultivar's growing strategies, so don't forget to consider all the data when crop steering your plants. You can grow in coco, rockwool, perlite mix, or even organic, but if you're not paying attention to the information that the roots are giving you, you won't learn from your mistakes so you can do better next time.

With AROYA hardware and software, you can measure your dry backs and log it on the platform, giving you historical data that lets you know what's working and what's not for your individual plants and harvest groups.

Carefully consider your sensor density.

There are certain environmental factors that affect the amount of sensors you'll need and where to install them to get a representative sample, but your overall goal is to eliminate inconsistencies as much as possible when it comes to your plants. And that means getting to a place of consistency across the board. Factors like light uniformity, cloning and defoliation consistency, and localized patch pressures all play a part in where and how many you'll need to install.

Still have questions about your sensor placement? Consult our Sensor Installation Tool in the Installation Guide.

Data is a crucial to understanding.

But information is just that until it's gathered and organized into something you can interpret and use. When we talk about actionable insights, we're showing you how valuable the data you collect about your plants already is to your operations. Each day is a chance to learn from your past and adjust your growth strategies, before things veer too far off track. And to the growers that truly listen and learn, a new level of success is achievable.

Build a task, set your target parameters, and watch for any alerts that day that indicate unwanted changes in your grow room—all in real time and at your fingertips. It all starts with understanding what's working for your plants and what's not, and (quickly) adjusting accordingly.

Sensor installation takes less time than you'd think.

Our team has worked tirelessly to design the most user-friendly cannabis sensor and cultivation platform on the planet, and we'll continuously work to ensure it's the most cutting-edge and efficient technology for serious growers. But for those who want to know how long it takes to get AROYA up and running—the answer might surprise you.

Small to medium-sized facilities usually take a few hours, and larger facilities can usually be completed within a day.

Task management, all in the palm of your hand (or tablet, rather).

Our new Kiosk feature gives growers the most recent readings of air temp, relative humidity, light, substrate temperature, electrical connectivity, and water content, so you know what's going on with your plants at all times. And there are so many tasks that go into cannabis cultivation. Automate and watch what happens when your processes and data combine and are accessible to you from anywhere. This is freedom and efficiency on a whole new level.

AROYA customer support is forever.

That means if you're a customer and you have questions, concerns, or just need some help getting set up, we're here.

Submitting questions or bug reports is easily done in the app, or you can reach out to our team to get your questions answered by calling us or emailing at support.aroya@metergroup.com.

We're doing AROYA Office hours every week! Want to get on the list? Fill out the form and we'll get you in on the next virtual Q&A.
