AROYA MCP Setup Guide for Claude and ChatGPT
Overview
Connect your AROYA account to an AI assistant so you can ask questions about your facilities, rooms, and zones in plain language. Both setups use the same server:
Server URL: https://mcp.aroya.io/mcp
Authentication: OAuth (sign in with your normal AROYA email and password)
The connection is read-only and limited to what your AROYA account can already see.
BEFORE YOU START: FACILITY ACCESS MUST BE ENABLED
Connecting the server does not by itself grant data access. If the assistant replies that you have a facility membership but "MCP access has not been enabled for that facility yet," an AROYA administrator needs to enable it.
Give the assistant the facility name and it will return a prefilled AROYA support link to request access.

Step 5: Use it in a chat
Click Try in chat, or start a new chat and type @AROYA followed by your question, e.g. "@AROYA What AROYA facilities do I have access to?"
What you can ask once connected
The assistant can read your facility and zone data, including sensor readings (VWC, temperature, RH, VPD, EC, PPFD), irrigation and drainage diagnostics, device health and alerts, cultivation and crop records, and CSV or Parquet exports on request.
Example prompts
"What facilities can I see in AROYA?"
"What was the average VWC by zone in Flower 2 over the last week?"
"Give me an irrigation diagnosis for Flower 2 over the past three days."
"Export last month's pore EC for Flower 2 as a CSV."
Tip: name the facility, room, and time window in your question for faster, more precise answers.
Troubleshooting
If something breaks or data is missing, say so in the chat. The assistant can file feedback directly with the AROYA team.
To disconnect, remove the connector in Claude (Settings → Connectors) or the plugin in ChatGPT (Plugins → AROYA → Manage).
