Rebuilt AROYA app streamlines work and keeps teams connected

We understand that cultivation isn’t a desk job. Whether you’re walking rooms, logging readings, or coordinating your team, pace and clarity matter. That’s why we’re excited to introduce a completely rebuilt version of the AROYA mobile app, designed to work as hard as you do. Here’s how we raised the bar.

1. Navigation built for being on your feet

We redesigned the navigation to reduce friction and keep your workflow smooth. The main menu has shifted from the old top-left location to a more ergonomic bottom drawer.

Key menu relocations include:

• Dashboard → Home
• Room Dashboard → Rooms
• Journal & Tasks now split into: Tasks, Notes, IPM Applications, Manual Readings & Alerts
• Devices → Setup > Devices
• Notifications, Help, Logout → under User Settings 

The result? Less hunting through menus, more doing.

2. Feature enhancements that matter

We didn’t just move things around— we added new capabilities to match real work on the floor:

• Biometric login support – Jump in faster, securely, with your fingerprint or face. Aroya
• Rooms with pinch-to-zoom & portrait support – Get close to the data that counts and view your space the way you work.
• Spanish language option – Switch languages easily in User Settings and keep team collaboration seamless.
• Manual readings workflow improved – Capture EC, water content (WC), temperature and notes in one go. No extra taps.
• Facility configuration all in one place – Edit Rooms & Zones, self-provision new devices, change unit preferences, update facility info: all from Setup.

3. Designed for teams and real-world workflows

Cultivation teams don’t work in isolation—mobile, on the go, in zones moving between rooms, checking data, making decisions. We built this app version to keep up.

• Faster access via biometric login means less waiting, more doing.
• Zoomable rooms let you inspect details without stepping back or switching tools.
• Bilingual support breaks down language barriers so everyone on the team is aligned.
• Streamlined manual readings process means less frustration, fewer lost data points.

4. Transition note for kiosk users

If you’ve been using the app in Kiosk Mode, please note: the new release no longer includes Kiosk Mode. All tasks previously done in that mode remain available elsewhere in the app. If you have any workflow impacted by this change, reach out to support@aroya.io and our team will help.
