Growing knowledge every single week!

Your favorite cultivation podcast hosts were back in studio this week, and the community showed up! Jason and Seth answered a bunch of questions, talking about everything from light spectrum differences to what leaf curling really means to photomorphogenesis, and much more!

Check out this selection of our favorite quotes from this week:

The Lowdown on Tip Burn

“What is tip burning? It seems like historically, we used to always associate that with too high in nutrients…Usually what it is is actually an excess or a deficiency, so an imbalance in nutrients some way. And so a lot of times we might actually be eating up more nutrients, running into an imbalance, and seeing a similar type of symptom in the plant.

Cultivating Balance Is Key

“I've seen way too many people hang their hat on a certain set of genetics thinking that that was going to be their silver bullet in the market. And while those genetics may have been great, they didn't have a facility that allowed them to grow those genetics to a potential where it was economically viable.”

–Seth

Back To Gen Steering Basics

“When we talk about generative steering, we're looking to reduce node spacing, enable early bud development so that the plant has time to establish those buds to be massive by the end that we're ready to flower or by the end of flower, ready to harvest.”
